THE STORY

This drawing was done at the time when I was about to finish college. I was learning quite a bit about the business world and how so many things connect and intertwine with each other. It helped me realize how important it was for both Chevrolet and Ford to both be around so that they can make better cars as the years progress. Competition is healthy for business and improvement. This helped me in starting a reform for myself and giving attention, positive attention, to cars I either never cared about, or disliked because of their brand names. As a result, I wanted to try drawing a non-General Motors vehicle. I decided on drawing my own guess of what the new 2009 Shelby GT500 may look like based on some spy photos that had surfaced on the web. I was not far off, but the bumper design was a bit too chunky in my speculative drawing...

Thank you. Red with black stripes is my most favorite color combo. Silver with blue stripes look the best on this car, I think.

I think blue with silver stripes would even look good, dating back to the '65 Cobra. But Red with black stripes was definately a great color choice.
