Description

Here is a closer shot of the ice that was covering the truck. I don't think this has ever happened around my area in a very long time, so it was rather exciting to see this! I did not even want to open the door. I was afraid the rubber sealants would be ripped apart because of the ice!

I don't think to rubber gaskets will tear, partly because this exact same thing happened to my car during a bad ice storm about a year ago, in that case I had to open my door to get inside the car so that I could drive home from the college campus. I opened to doors expecting some of the rubber to tear, but to my surprise, the rubber held up despite being frayed in some places from the previous owner(s) of my car, that being said that if you have a good rubber gasket seal, it shouldn't tear just because of a thin layer of ice had developed on it.
