Like many of the previous projects I did for the advanced digital design class, some of these projects were based off of some nifty online tutorials ("vectortuts" I think). For this assignment, I had to make a nice 3D graph.
I decided to change things around drastically compared to the tutorial's design, which was a bright design with rainbow colored bars. I focused on explosions and movie directors and used a color scheme that would go along with it. It was verrry tricky to get the perspective right with the background and its text and the bars on the graph itself so that they seem to fit together. After creating the 3D bar graph bits, I expanded them so that they are vector shapes and started adding some shine to them, along with those explosions.
Sure, Michael Bay is just KNOWN for his explosions, but he does make some entertaining movies, as bad as they may be, haha.
